Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: 2 September 2026

1. Scope

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) applies to everyone who uses Taj Host services, provided by TAJ IT Solutions Limited (Malta Company Reg. No. C 117054). It forms part of our Terms of Service. You are responsible for all activity on your account and for your users and content.

2. Prohibited content

You may not store, host, transmit or link to content that:

  • is illegal under Maltese, EU or applicable law;
  • infringes intellectual-property rights (piracy, counterfeit, unlicensed media/software);
  • is child sexual abuse material — reported immediately to the authorities;
  • is defamatory, threatening, or incites violence or hatred;
  • facilitates fraud, phishing, or the distribution of malware.

3. Prohibited activities

  • sending spam or unsolicited bulk/commercial email;
  • network abuse, denial-of-service, port scanning or unauthorised access attempts;
  • cryptocurrency mining;
  • running applications that consume excessive shared resources and degrade service for others;
  • circumventing account limits, security controls or usage metering.

4. Email & anti-spam

Bulk or unsolicited email is not permitted. Reasonable per-hour sending limits apply on shared hosting to protect deliverability and stability; accounts that breach limits or generate spam complaints may be throttled or suspended.

5. Resource fair use

Shared hosting is intended for normal website workloads. We may throttle, suspend or require an upgrade for accounts that place a disproportionate load on shared infrastructure. Automated process monitoring may stop runaway processes.

6. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations and, depending on severity, warn you, remove content, throttle, suspend or terminate services — without refund for serious or repeated breaches, and immediately where required by law or to protect the platform or third parties.

7. Reporting abuse

Report suspected abuse to abuse@tajhost.com (or call +356 2034 0338). Please include URLs, IPs, headers and timestamps so we can act quickly.
