1. Who we are (Data Controller)

This website and the Taj Host services are operated by TAJ IT Solutions Limited, a company registered in Malta (Company Reg. No. C 117054), with registered office at Premiere Business Centre, Suite 1 Level 2, Triq il-Kostituzzjoni, Mosta, MST 1750, Malta (VAT No.: MT33153207). 2. Information we collect

We collect:

  • account and billing data (name, email, address, phone, company and VAT number, payment identifiers);
  • order and service data;
  • support communications;
  • technical and usage data (IP address, device/browser, server and access logs);
  • analytics data, where you consent to it.

3. Legal bases for processing

We process personal data on the following bases under the GDPR:

  • Performance of a contract — to provide hosting, domains and related services;
  • Legal obligation — tax, accounting and VAT records;
  • Legitimate interests — securing our platform, preventing fraud and abuse, and improving our services;
  • Consent — optional analytics and marketing cookies, and marketing emails.

4. How we use your information

To create and manage your account, provision and support your services, process payments and issue invoices, communicate with you about your services, comply with legal obligations, and secure and improve our platform.

5. Sharing and processors (subprocessors)

We share personal data only with providers that help us run the service, under appropriate data-processing terms:

  • infrastructure / hosting providers (EU data centres);
  • our billing platform;
  • our email / SMTP provider;
  • payment providers;
  • our domain and SSL registrars;
  • analytics providers (where you consent).

We do not sell personal data. A current list of subprocessors is available on request.

6. International transfers

We host and process EU customer data within the EU/EEA wherever possible. Where any transfer outside the EEA occurs, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses.

7. Retention

We keep account and service data for as long as you are a customer and as required afterwards for legal, tax and accounting purposes (generally up to the statutory retention period under Maltese law). Server and access logs are kept for a limited period for security. Support records are kept for a reasonable period.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time (without affecting prior processing). To exercise these rights, contact privacy@tajhost.com. We may need to verify your identity.

9. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies as described in our Cookie Policy. Non-essential (analytics/marketing) cookies are set only with your consent, which you can change at any time.

10. Complaints

If you believe we have not handled your data lawfully, you may lodge a complaint with the Maltese supervisory authority, the Information and Data Protection Commissioner (IDPC), Malta (idpc.org.mt), or your local EU data protection authority.

11. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time; the “last updated” date reflects the latest version.
